It is specially designed to avoid varieties of oils for different operations and metals, ferrous and non-ferrous. Metalfin-40 is enriched with effective and unique extreme pressure additives derived from Sulphurised fats and effective surface tension depressants, which ensure direct contact of oil with the cutting edge. The effectively designed and formulated extreme pressure additives provide oil film of high strength, which withstands the heavy load of boundary lubrications. It can serve all the operations such as gun drilling, gear grinding on automats and moderate feed rates for gear hobbing and broaching etc. However it’s not suitable for honing operations.
